Rob Sielecki graduated with an Honours Degree in Geology in 1980 and worked as a geologist for a number of years.

He started his mineral business in 1984 dealing part time mainly to fund his interest in mineral collecting. Gradually the mineral collecting/dealing took precedence over his geological work - it was just so much more fun!

Ausrox was started by Rob in 1984 and continues to this day as the premier Australian mineral dealership. Rob has been trading at many of the world’s major mineral shows since 1987 under the Ausrox name.

In 1995 Rob started a wholesale crystal company to capitalise on the burgeoning New Age market. His company Crystal Universe P/L also now trades at many of these shows. Several years ago, he set up a specialist gold business with a stockbroker friend – Andy Comas. This has been going strong as Ausrox Gold.

In the past few years for various legal/administrative reasons he registered an LLC Company in the USA – Ausrox/Crystal Universe LLC which now controls the business in the USA.

The head office and main showroom is in Melbourne, Australia with a second office and gallery in Perth, Western Australia.

Note Rob is also a Government approved valuer for minerals, fossils meteorites and tektites under the Australian Cultural Gifts Program.
