Mary van der Aa Fine Jewels and Tucson Todd's Gems Gems is a collaboration between two very passionate and talented, award-winning artists. Mary designs and creates each one-of-a-kind jewelry piece and Todd Wacks facets each of the sparking gems. They love to spread their love of jewelry and gems as they exhibit at shows across the country together.

Mary is a multiple AGTA Spectrum Award Winner, and received an Alfie Norville Women of Excellence Award in the 2024 Awards. She is a proud GIA graduate and former instructor. In Mary's world, jewelry is not bound by mere adornment; it is a manifestation of creativity, emotion, and imagination. With each new creation, Mary showcases her ability to transcend boundaries, capturing the essence of beauty, sophistication, and contemporary style.

Todd was born and raised in Tucson, Arizona. He is a fourth generation jeweler, growing up in his family's jewelry store working his way up from floor sweeper to goldsmith. He looks at gemology as life and enjoys sharing his love of gems, hunting down exotic rough, and “machining” these rough crystals into stunning faceted gems.
